First Father's Day

I am a blessed woman to have Chris as a husband and the father of our little Mark. He was understanding and incredibly encouraging during the pregnancy. He made the labor process exciting with his anticipation...(he was giddy with excitement)...and comforted the pain with his hugs and smiles. The Lord gave me more than I could have ever dreamed when he gave me Chris. I see this more each day as I watch him be the great dad that he is. It was easy to celebrate him today, his first Father's Day. To commemorate the occasion Chris and Mark had Father's Day pictures taken...

Aren't my guys handsome??

Why the name "Drinking From Our Saucer"?

The full phrase is "I'm drinking from my saucer because my cup is overflowing." It came from Chris's grandmother who would say it when she would get overwhelmed with her blessings. Through the years the phrase has been shortened to "I'm drinking from my saucer!" We thought it was a perfect fit for a blog that documented God's many blessings to us.
