Nursery Beginnings

Mom and Dad Hanlon brought our nursery furniture when they came out for Christmas. We had a blast putting the nursery together. Mom and I began to register at Babies 'R Us and she treated us to some nursery decor starters... thanks mom!!

Buying a Car

We said "farewell" to our '92 Honda Accord and "Hello" to an '05 Nissan.
(Our first car purchase as a married couple!)

Our new buggy -- the car which will drive our baby home from the hospital!!

Note: it may be cheesy to include this post on our blog;
however, we did spare you all the pics of us signing the papers :-)

Christmas in Ohio

Christmas was at the Harrington apartment this year. My family came to celebrate with us. We didn't take many pictures documenting the festivities, but the days were filled with fun - games, food, shopping, laughing, preparing a nursery, buying a car, and lots of wii!!!

Mom surprised us with a stocking for baby H. On Christmas morning, baby H was not left out-- It was a great time of celebrating this much anticipated little one!

Our Christmas festivities began with the traditional Club JV Christmas Party.
The following pics are some of the highlights....

Frank's fantastic gingerbread house.

Winners of the bobbing for candy canes contest (2nd year champs).

Dan's final Club JV Christmas... we'll miss you!!

Thanksgiving with the Harringtons & Getting Ready for Christmas

Chris and I cut down our Christmas tree the following weekend.
Unfortunately, we forgot the camera during the picking process,
but here is its unveiling in our apartment.
It's a beauty!!  :-)

We had a great time searching for a Christmas Tree---
here's to Molly for Picking out the tree of the year!!

24 Weeks!!!

I'm a year older and the baby is 4 weeks older :-)
Thanks fam for the shirt!! I'm loving it!

Why the name "Drinking From Our Saucer"?

The full phrase is "I'm drinking from my saucer because my cup is overflowing." It came from Chris's grandmother who would say it when she would get overwhelmed with her blessings. Through the years the phrase has been shortened to "I'm drinking from my saucer!" We thought it was a perfect fit for a blog that documented God's many blessings to us.
