Baby Shower in Richmond

While in Richmond over Valentine's Day Weekend, the Harrington (and Pfeil) ladies surprised me with a lovely tea party baby shower.  I was very surprised and very blessed by them!
Thank you all for the many wonderful gifts and the thoughtful preparation you put into the shower!

Papa and Ross are working hard trying to "guess the mess" in the diapers.  (really...the messes are various candy bars!)

Sarah and the Kids visit Twinsburg

Sarah, Olivia, Annabella, and Calvin came to visit Chris and I in Twinsburg last Tues and Wed, Feb 24th and 25th.  Sarah spoke at Club JV (the middle school youth group Chris and I help out with) about Japan.  We had a great time making homemade calzones, playing Settlers of Catan, visiting a playground, and eating at Chick Fil-A.  It was a very special two days!!

Another yummy work of art...the "A" is for Annabella :-)
Olivia's masterpiece--- beautiful!
Annabella and Olivia decorated cookies in their new chef's outfits that
Chris and I got them for their birthdays.

Uncle Matt and Aunt Angela with Olivia and her birthday gifts.

We celebrated birthdays just before the exchanging of Valentines.   Chris and I got Calvin his first football.  (please take note of the Bengal's colors)

We had the chance to meet the Pfeils at the airport in Dayton.
We were welcomed by smiling, beautiful faces!! -- a great treat considering this weary family of 5 had just completed 24 hours of travel!!

Why the name "Drinking From Our Saucer"?

The full phrase is "I'm drinking from my saucer because my cup is overflowing." It came from Chris's grandmother who would say it when she would get overwhelmed with her blessings. Through the years the phrase has been shortened to "I'm drinking from my saucer!" We thought it was a perfect fit for a blog that documented God's many blessings to us.
