Day 10: Chiba University & Baseball game

Side note: so a lot has happened in our lives over the last month (a LOT!!)
I'm very behind in our blog, so in attempt to catch up, I will try to practice brevity.

Day 10: Tuesday

Morning: We visited Chiba University campus (which is the center of Jon's ministry).

in Japanese
everyone rides their bikes to class

Afternoon: Olivia and Annabella's gymnastic class

Evening: Chiba Lotte Marines baseball game.
Baseball is super-fun in Japan. As Chris puts it..."If American baseball was this fun, I'd be a baseball fan!" When your team is up to bat, you are on your feet and cheering the entire inning. It's exhausting and exhilarating at the same time!!!
they drive the relief pitcher to the mound!!

Why the name "Drinking From Our Saucer"?

The full phrase is "I'm drinking from my saucer because my cup is overflowing." It came from Chris's grandmother who would say it when she would get overwhelmed with her blessings. Through the years the phrase has been shortened to "I'm drinking from my saucer!" We thought it was a perfect fit for a blog that documented God's many blessings to us.
